It is with so much anguish that I am writing this log... all the weeks of preparation and the results just didnt tally... immediately there was so much accusation within.. am I really getting too old? Was I over confident?
Week after week, all that sacrifice of running and cross training.. but I missed incentive by a mere second... yes ... a mere second... when I passed the tape.. and when I saw the timing, I was shocked beyond believe... I was only 10th in position out of 115 runners, how could I have run so poorly? 13 mins 26 secs...
I was full of resolve.. I can still re-register for another test... I have 2 more months to go before my 40th birthday... so I really need to train alot harder...
